Our award-winning Gran Riserva Single Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made with the best olives hand-picked from the Il Paretajo olive groves in Chianti, Tuscany. The Gran Riserva Olive Oil was awarded the Gold Award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition.
After cold-pressing olives newly harvested from the same day, the olive oil produced is filtered carefully to ensure superior quality. Filtration removes impurities such as residual vegetation water and fine sediment remaining from the olive fruit. This minimizes the oxidation of the olive oil, preserving the pristine quality and high level of polyphenols (701 mg/kg).

Cultivar and Characteristics
Each vintage of olive oil has unique characteristics, tastes and
fragrances depending on the harvest. Due to the use of natural farming methods, the climate and other environmental variables have a direct impact on the olive fruits harvested each autumn.
The harvest from Il Paretajo Estate is mainly of the Leccino and Frantoio cultivars. The oil is bright green in colour, and has delicately balanced aromatic notes of artichoke, tomatoes and fresh cut grass. It has medium to intense fruitiness with clear structure, displaying typical terrior of Tuscan olive oil.
